What would you consider a serious and casual relationship?

Differences between the two. Let's pretend the two of them haven't had sex yet. Is it considered serious only after dating for X amount of months?

It's considered serious when you decide to start dating that one girl. Dating is about meeting as many people of the opposite sex to see what you like. You can date tons of grls at the same time, but when you decide you want to date just one girll that's when it becomes serious.
